Episode 125 – The Beyond (1981)

The gays are running through all Seven Doors of Death as they jump into a brand new review of Lucio Fulci’s gory and graphic classic The Beyond! If you’re a fan of extreme horror and visceral gore we suggest you look (and listen) no further, because Roger and Troy are about to give this gnarly classic the extensive, in-depth discussion that it truly deserves! This episode is simply overflowing with goopy and gross content, covering topics such as prolonged death by tarantula mutilation, poorly placed mason jars full of acid, whether or not it’s safe for a legally blind person to break into a full sprint, and the fact that there’s no way that hotel could possibly hold 36 rooms. So toss on your favorite glass contacts and wander out into the middle of a nearby freeway with your service dog in tow, because the latest episode is coming at ya full-speed ahead!

Troy and Roger are women on fire, they’re out of control. Troy and Roger are women on fire tonight, and it frightens them so! The gays back in full force, and what better way to get back into the groove of things than by reviewing everyone’s favorite aerobics-infused slasher Killer Workout aka Aerobicide! Listeners have been demanding this title for quite a while, and understandably so because this movie is friggin absurd! What other film out there boasts two men with identical features and matching bowl-cuts, an arrest sequence featuring a pair of severely burned breasts, a kickass soundtrack containing an array of 80s classics that you’ve never heard but won’t stop singing once you do, and an army of female gym-goers who absolutely refuse to stop attending their aerobics class no matter what the cost! That’s devotion right there! Know what else is devotion? Sitting through this movie four times in a row in order to bring you all this episode, that’s what!
